There is major news regarding the UP Public Service Commission. The Commission has released the schedule for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Main Examination 2025. The examination will be conducted from June 28 to June 30. On June 28, the General Hindi paper will be held during the first shift, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In the second shift, the General English examination will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. On the second day, June 29, the General Knowledge paper will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. During the second shift of the second day, the examination on Criminal Law and Procedure will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
**Schedule for the Third Day**
On the third and final day, June 30, the Evidence Act paper will be held during the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the paper on 'Other Acts' will be conducted during the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Brajesh Kumar Tyagi, Secretary of the UP Public Service Commission, has released this schedule for the Main Examination. However, he also stated that the examination schedule is subject to change under unavoidable circumstances. The Commission had declared the results of the Assistant Prosecution Officer Preliminary Examination 2025 on April 30.
**Number of Vacancies**
The APO 2025 Preliminary Examination was conducted on March 22, 2026. For this recruitment drive, a total of 93,419 candidates applied online, while 50,795 candidates actually appeared for the examination. The total number of posts available in this recruitment examination is 182. Against these vacancies, a total of 2,856 candidates have been provisionally declared successful by the Commission for admission to the Main Examination. The results of the Preliminary Examination are available for candidates on the Commission's website: https://uppsc.up.nic.in. The examination results in question are entirely provisional. Information regarding the marks obtained by candidates, cut-off scores, etc., will be made available on the Commission's website following the declaration of the final selection results.
