Rekha Gupta attended a special screening of the upcoming film Aakhri Sawal along with members of the cast and creative team. The film seeks to portray the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its role in India’s social and cultural landscape.
Sharing her views after the screening, Gupta described the project as an attempt to present the organization’s history, its focus on service, and its contribution to social organization and cultural awareness. The film also addresses several moments connected to India’s ideological and social development over the decades.
According to the makers, Aakhri Sawal explores the work carried out by RSS volunteers in areas such as community outreach, relief efforts, and social initiatives. The narrative reportedly reflects on how the organization evolved over the past century and its presence in public life across different regions of the country.
The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang and features actors Sanjay Dutt, Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, and Samira Reddy among its cast and supporters.
Those associated with the project said the film aims to present historical and social themes through cinema while encouraging discussion around the RSS’s influence and legacy in contemporary India. Further details regarding the film’s release are expected to be announced later.
