The Board of Cricket Control in India has announced a 15-man squad for India A for the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A. The announcement has been done on Thursday, that is, May 14. As per the announcement, the Mumbai Indians batter Tilak Varma will be leading the side and Riyan Parag as his deputy

The series will start on June 9 with India A facing Sri Lanka A. India will be playing a total of four matches in the series, two against Sri Lanka A and two against Afghanistan A. The final will be played on Sunday, June 21. The series will be played in Raigiri, Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.

Apart from Tilak Varma, a lot of IPL stars have made it into the side. The batting has been mighty for India with Priyans Arya, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, and Prabsimran Singh coming in. The middle order has Ayush Badoni and Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag alongside Kumar Kushagra.

The CSK star Anshul Khamboj got his call too with Yash Thakur, Yudhvir Singh, and Arshad Khan. Even though Yudvir hasn't got any chance for RR, Anshul stunned this season by consistently ranking within the top 5 wicket-takers in this IPL season.

Suryansh Shedge, Vipraj Nigam, and Nishnat Sindu are entitled to all-round responsibilities. Suryansh has recently played three matches for Punjab and has been valuable with the bat for his side.
