High Court stays criminal case against director T.N. Seetharam and others

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has granted an interim stay on criminal proceedings registered against television director T.N. Seetharam and others in connection with allegations of trespassing on disputed land and outraging the modesty of women.
The case was registered at the Doddaballapur Rural Police Station.
Justice M.G.S. Kamal, sitting on a vacation single-judge bench, passed the interim order while hearing a petition filed by Seetharam and others seeking cancellation of the FIR.
The petitioners had approached the High Court requesting that the FIR registered in the matter be quashed.
