Bihar IAS Transfers: Bihar government has once again transferred Indian Administrative Service officers on a large scale to revamp the administrative system of the state. According to the latest notification issued by the General Administration Department, many senior officers of the level of Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary and Deputy Development Commissioner of the districts have come under the influence of this reshuffle. This step of the government is being seen as an attempt to speed up law and order and development works. After this new order, the heads of many important departments of the state have changed, due to which the commotion in the administrative corridor has intensified.

Changes in departments of senior IAS officers

According to the list released by the government, K Senthil Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Sugarcane Industry Department, has now been posted on the same post in the Labor Resources and Migrant Workers Welfare Department. Along with this, he will also continue to hold the responsibility of Additional Chief Secretary of Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department. After this new change, HR Srinivas has been relieved of this additional charge. Munger Division Commissioner Prem Singh Meena has now been given the additional charge of Bhagalpur Division Commissioner, due to which his area of ​​work has expanded.

New posting in Kosi and PHED department

As part of the administrative reshuffle, Kosi Division Commissioner Rajesh Kumar has now been sent to the post of Principal Secretary in the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). Apart from this, PHED Department Secretary Pankaj Kumar Pal has now been given the responsibility of the post of Secretary, Road Construction Department. Pankaj Kumar Pal was already working in additional charge of this department, but now he has been made the full-time secretary here.

New responsibility to Abhay Kumar Singh and Deepak Anand

Abhay Kumar Singh, Secretary, Food and Consumer Protection Department, has now been given the command of the post of Secretary, Information Technology Department. Along with this, he will also continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director of Beltron. Dharmendra Singh, Secretary of Cooperative Department, has been given the additional charge of Secretary of Sugarcane Industry Department till further orders. On the other hand, Deepak Anand, Secretary of Labor Resources and Migrant Workers Welfare Department, has been transferred and appointed as the new Secretary of Food and Consumer Protection Department.

Major reshuffle in education and sports department

Election Department Secretary cum Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Singh Gunjiyal has now been given the entire charge of the Education Department along with the additional charge of the Secretary of the Sports Department. After the implementation of this new order, B Rajender has been completely relieved from the additional charge of Education Department and Sports Department. Bhagalpur Division Commissioner Avnish Kumar Singh has been made the Secretary cum Mines Commissioner of the Mines and Geology Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director of Bihar State Mineral Development Corporation Limited. With this change, Divesh Sehra has been relieved of all additional charges of the Mines Department. Apart from this, Darbhanga Division Commissioner Himanshu Kumar Rai will remain in additional charge of Kosi Commissioner till further orders.

Patna gets new DDC

In this administrative reshuffle, Patna district has got a new Deputy Development Commissioner. Nalanda’s DDC Shubham Kumar has now been made the new Deputy Development Commissioner of Patna. Jeevika CEO Himanshu Sharma has been appointed Secretary, Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, although he will also continue on the post of CEO of Jeevika. With this decision, Tourism Department Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh has been relieved from the additional charge of Science and Technology Department. Purnia DM Anshul Kumar has been given the additional charge of Commissioner there. New officers have also been deployed in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, in which DDC Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar of Patna and DDC Gunjan Singh of Bhojpur have been posted as Joint Secretaries in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
