The Central Investigation Agency i.e. CBI has got a big success in the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case. CBI has arrested kingpig PV Kulkarni. The accused is a chemistry lecturer and was part of the examination process conducted by NTA. CBI said that the accused had access to the question papers. The paper was leaked from here only.
According to the central agency, PV Kulkarni took the help of Manisha Waghmare in the last week of April and gathered some students. After this, he conducted special coaching classes at his home in Pune.
Here students were asked to write questions and their correct options on notebooks. When the NEET exam was conducted on May 3, these questions were found to match exactly with the original question paper. Let us tell you that CBI has arrested Manisha on May 14 itself.
CBI raids continue across the country in the paper leak case. A total of seven accused have been arrested from Jaipur, Gurugram, Nashik, Pune and Ahilyanagar. The court has sent the five accused to police custody for 7 days. Two accused are being presented in Pune court for transit remand, so that they can be brought to Delhi for questioning.
