Impact of education revolution in Punjab, 12th result of 416 government schools was 100 percent

The efforts being made by the Bhagwant Mann government to strengthen the education system in Punjab are now visible on the ground. This time, government schools created a new history in the results of class 12th of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). 416 government schools in the state have recorded 100 percent results, which the government is considering as a major result of its “education revolution”.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, while honoring the class 12 topper students in Chandigarh, said that the daughters of Punjab are writing new history in the field of education and playing a leading role in the revival of the state.

Three girl students achieved full 500 marks

This time Supneet Kaur of Mansa and Suhani Chauhan and Divanshi of Ludhiana brought glory to the state by scoring 500 marks out of 500. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann honored all three girl students with a cash prize of Rs 50,000 each.

The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of great pride that all three topper students are also national and state level players. This proves that the daughters of Punjab are continuously progressing in education, sports and other fields.

People’s trust in government schools increased

The Punjab government has paid special attention to infrastructure, smart classrooms and modern facilities in government schools. Its effect was clearly visible in the results this time. Out of 275 students included in the merit list, 122 students are from government schools.

The Chief Minister said that this change shows the increasing confidence of the people in the government education system. He said that students coming from ordinary families have achieved this success with hard work and dedication.

Girls left boys behind again

In the 12th board examination, girls once again performed brilliantly and left the boys behind. This year the pass percentage of girls was 94.73 percent, while the result of boys was recorded at 88.52 percent.

Girls continued to dominate the merit list also. Of the total 278 merit holders, 217 were girls and only 61 were boys.

Amritsar and Patiala won

The highest pass percentage in the state was from Amritsar district, where 96 percent students were successful. Patiala district performed best in the merit list and 59 students from here appeared in the merit list.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously improving the education sector so that the youth of Punjab can get better opportunities.

inspired girls to join army

During the program, a student expressed her desire to become a pilot in the Indian Air Force. On this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inspired him to take admission in Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute located in Mohali.

He said that this institute prepares girls physically and mentally to become officers in defense services and gives training for national level competitive examinations.
