There is talk that everything is not going well in the team. Some reports have claimed that after the defeat to Bangladesh, there was a fight between Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood. According to the report, there was a heated argument between senior player Shaheen Afridi and Captain Shan Masood. It is being told that Shan Masood is not happy with Shaheen’s bowling speed.

Chasing the target of 268 runs in the match played in Dhaka, the Pakistani team collapsed for just 163 runs and had to face defeat by 104 runs. This is Pakistan’s third consecutive defeat in Test matches against Bangladesh after the defeat at home in 2024. Along with this defeat, ICC also took action against Pakistan under which the team was fined 40 percent of the match fee and due to Slow Over-Rate they were deducted eight points in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.
