- To make this, first take a big glass of cold buttermilk.
- If there is fresh homemade buttermilk, it tastes even better.
- Now add half a teaspoon of mountain salt in it. If mountain salt is not available, rock salt can also be used.
- Now prepare the tadka. For this, heat one teaspoon mustard oil in a small pan.
- When the oil becomes slightly hot, add half a teaspoon of mustard seeds into it.
- When the mustard seeds start crackling, add 1 to 2 dry red chillies.
- If you wish, you can also add curry leaves and green coriander to enhance the taste and aroma.
- Now add the prepared hot tadka to cold buttermilk and mix well.
- This enhances both the taste and aroma of buttermilk and it tastes very tasty to drink.
