Samsung may soon launch its new mid-range smartphone Samsung Galaxy M47. Before the launch, this smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, where some of its key specifications have been revealed. Even before this, this device has appeared on the GSMA database and Samsung’s internal testing server, which has strengthened the possibility of it coming to the Indian market soon. However, no official announcement has been made by the company at present.
Features revealed in Geekbench listing
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Galaxy M47 has been spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-M476B. According to the listing, this smartphone can come with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. This will be an octa-core chipset, in which four efficiency cores will work at a clock speed of 1.8GHz and four performance cores will work at a speed of up to 2.4GHz.
For graphics, the phone is expected to have Adreno 710 GPU, which can improve the gaming and multitasking experience. In the Geekbench AI OpenCL test, this device has got a GPU score of around 2,256, which shows its performance potential.
The phone can come with Android 16 and 8GB RAM
According to reports, at least 8GB RAM can be provided in Samsung Galaxy M47. Apart from this, this smartphone will run on Android 16 operating system. It is believed that this will be a 5G smartphone, which will offer better network speed and connectivity.
Entry may happen soon in India and Nepal
The Galaxy M47 was spotted in the GSMA database in March with model number SM-M476B/DS. After this, in April it also appeared on Samsung’s internal testing server in India and Nepal. In such a situation, it is expected that the company can soon launch this smartphone in these markets.
The new model will be the successor of Galaxy M44
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy M47 is considered to be the successor of the Samsung Galaxy M44 launched in 2023. Galaxy M44 had a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD display, 50MP triple rear camera setup, 8MP front camera and 5,000mAh battery. In such a situation, it is expected that the new model will be launched in the market with better processor, upgraded features and better performance.
