For the second time in the last one week, petroleum companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel. On Tuesday, the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by an average of 90 paise per liter. This means that there has been an increase of Rs 4 per liter in the price of petrol and diesel in five days. The special thing is that after this increase, there has been a tremendous rise of more than 3 percent in the shares of petroleum companies.

Due to which these companies have jointly earned around Rs 12,400 crore in a few hours. This means that the valuation of these companies has increased. According to valuation, IOCL has benefited the most. Let us also tell you how much profit the three major OMCs of the country i.e. Bharat Petroleum, IOCL and HPCL have made in the stock market.

Bharat Petroleum

Shares of Bharat Petroleum increased by 3.09 percent during the trading session. After which the company's shares reached the day's high of Rs 289.55. However, a day ago the company's shares had closed at Rs 280.85. At 12:30 pm, the company's shares were trading at Rs 287.60 with a rise of 2.40 per cent. If we talk about valuation, the market cap of the company was Rs 121,845.90 crore a day earlier, which increased to Rs 125,620.37 crore during the trading session. This means that there has been an increase of Rs 3,774.47 crore in the valuation of the company.

IOCL

Shares of IOCL, one of the biggest petroleum companies of the country, have also seen a rise of more than 3 percent. According to the data, during the trading session, the company's shares reached the day's high of Rs 136.05 with a rise of 3.18 percent. However, a day earlier the shares of the company had closed at Rs 131.85. However, at 12:30 pm the company's shares are trading at Rs 135.85 with a rise of 3.03 per cent. Talking about valuation, the market cap of the company was Rs 186,188.53 crore a day earlier, which came down to Rs 192,119.45 crore during the trading session on Tuesday. This means that there has been an increase of Rs 5,930.92 crore in the valuation of the company.

HPCL

The shares of Hindustan Petroleum i.e. HPCL have also seen the highest rise. An increase of 3.52 percent was seen in the company's shares during the trading session. According to BSE data, the company's shares had reached the day's peak of Rs 371.85 during the trading session. Whereas a day ago the company's shares were seen at Rs 359.20. At 12:30 pm, the company's shares are trading at Rs 371.60 with a rise of 3.45 percent. If we talk about valuation, the market cap of the company was Rs 76,431.38 crore a day earlier, which increased to Rs 79,123.07 crore on Tuesday. This means that the valuation of the company came to Rs 2,691.69 crore.
