When she walked across the stage to receive her degree at her college graduation ceremony, her name was read as ‘Zahra Marley Jolie’. Although her full name was officially written as ‘Zahra Marley Jolie-Pitt’ in college, the people present there noticed the removal of ‘Pitt’ from her name on stage.

Even when Zahra joined a student organization ‘Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’ in November 2023, she introduced herself as ‘Zahra Marley Jolie’. In the month of April, Zahra was also seen in a special program, where she spoke openly about her relationship with her mother Angelina Jolie.
