Free Aadhaar Update 2027: Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI Has given big relief to Aadhaar card holders. Whereas earlier this facility was available till June 15, 2026, now people can update the necessary documents in their Aadhaar without any fee till June 14, 2027. For whom is Aadhaar update necessary?

Which details will be updated for free?

For your information, let us tell you that currently the documents to identity and address are being updated for free on myAadhaar portal. Which simply means that if your address has changed or ID proof has to be updated, then no fee will be charged for it. Apart from this, information like name, date of birth and gender can also be updated online. But keep in mind that if you go to an offline Aadhaar center to get the update done, you will have to pay the prescribed fee there.

It is very easy to change your information through myAadhaar portal, in this way you can also do it sitting at home:

• Go to myAadhaar portal and login by entering the 12 digit Aadhaar number.
• Complete verification with OTP received on registered mobile number.
• Select Update Aadhaar Online option
• Select the information you want to update
• After filling the new details, upload the scanned copies of the required documents and click on Submit.

After submitting this, you will get SRN number with the help of which the updated status can be tracked online.
