There was a sensation in the entire area when the dead body of a teenager was found near the railway track in Panti village of Meja police station area on Tuesday morning. As soon as information about the incident was received, a huge crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. In the initial investigation, there is a suspicion that the body was thrown after murder.

According to the information, the body of 14-year-old Sameer Kumar, son of Rajaram, resident of Panti village, was found lying under suspicious circumstances on the railway track near the village. In the morning, when the local people were passing by, they saw the dead body and immediately informed the police. Within no time a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot.

On receiving information about the incident, Assistant Police Commissioner Major SP Upadhyay, station in-charge Deendayal Singh and Major Road outpost police reached the spot and inspected the spot. Police have started collecting evidence by interrogating the people nearby. During the investigation of the spot, the police investigated many important points.

The family members have alleged that Sameer was murdered and his body was thrown near the railway track so that the incident could be portrayed as an accident. Family members say that Sameer had no dispute with anyone and he was the only son of the family. He has two sisters. There is mourning in the family after the incident. The parents are in bad condition and there is an atmosphere of mourning in the village.

Based on the apprehension of the family, the police have taken a suspicious youth into custody and started questioning. Officials say that after the post mortem report comes, clear information about the cause of death will be available. At present the police is investigating keeping in mind murder, accident and all other aspects.

The station in-charge said that the matter is being investigated seriously. The entire case is expected to be revealed soon on the basis of evidence collected from the spot and interrogation.
