Meghan Markle's post from her walk-in wardrobe has been deemed as a potential "clue" about her next big move - with an expert suggesting that it is "looming ever closer". The picture, which showed Princess Lilibet crouching at her mum's feet, has been criticised for being posted just hours before her appearance at Geneva's Place des Nations in Switzerland to open The Lost Screen Memorial on Sunday.

Writing in a new story posted by the Daily Mail, reporter Annabel Fenwick Elliott suggested that we could soon be seeing the release of a fashion brand from Meghan. She wrote: "No, my money is on Meghan branching out into fashion with her brand, As Ever.

"Her lifestyle company is, after all, the only account she follows on Instagram."

She added that the release could come sooner than we believe if it is in the cards, adding: "That date could be looming ever closer.

"Eagle-eyed devotees did spot a new sizing chart for T-shirts appearing on her brand's website, both for adults and kids, last week, although it was swiftly deleted. Was it a tease, or a glitch?"

Meghan, 44, previously suggested that she would like to create her own fashion line during an interview last year.

She said: "Fashion is something I will explore at a later date. Because I do think that's an interesting space for me."

Journalist Tom Sykes, who was present to watch the Duchess of Sussex's speech at the weekend, has claimed that Meghan is a hypocrite for "exposing" Lilibet just hours before her appearance in Geneva.

Writing on Substack, Mr Sykes said: "Yes, a woman who is about to stand alongside the world's most senior public health official and talk about the measurable and preventable harms of exposing children to social media has just - voluntarily, for no apparent reason other than self-promotion - exposed her own child to social media."

He added that the image is not only "boastful", but also "staggeringly tone-deaf" given the nature of where she was set to appear on the following day.

The Duchess' spokesman declined to comment to the Daily Mail. The Daily Express have also reached out for comment.
