The Delhi government has launched the “Flight of Aspirations 2026-27” talent hunt scheme aimed at identifying and promoting young talent across the capital.
According to the announcement, the initiative will be conducted across all 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi and is expected to involve participation from more than 25,000 young people. The programme is intended to provide opportunities for youth to showcase their abilities in multiple creative and performing arts fields.
The scheme will include categories such as singing, dance, theatre, fine arts, digital art, instrumental music, and music composition. Officials said the objective is to create a platform where talented youth can gain visibility and develop their skills further.
The government stated that the initiative is focused on encouraging young people to build opportunities through creativity, talent, and hard work. Authorities also said the programme aims to support artistic and cultural engagement among youth at the local level. Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra and officials from related departments were present during the launch event.
