IPS Transfer: Transfer Express ran in two states, 6 IPS officers got new responsibility, see list

Reshuffle (IPS Transfer) has been seen in Tamil Nadu and Odisha Police Department. In both the states, 3-3 IPS officers have been given new responsibilities. There has been a change in the charge of Additional Director General of Police. New superintendents of police have been appointed in two districts. The transfer and appointment have been approved by the Governor. The order has been issued on May 25.

All officers have also been instructed to assume new charge with immediate effect. In Tamil Nadu, IPS officer Dr. Maheshwar Dayal has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police, Administration, Chennai. Before this, he was working on the post of Director General of Police, Law and Order. Odisha government has transferred IPS officer Dayal Gangwar, Additional Director General of Police, Communication, to the post of OSD, Home Department.

These IPS officers also got new posts in Tamil Nadu

A. Arun has been appointed to the post of Additional Director General of Police or Director, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Chennai. Earlier he was waiting for additional posting. TS Ambu who was awaiting posting has been appointed to the post of Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order Chennai. He is going to succeed Dr. Maheshwar Dayal.

SP of these districts changed in Odisha

Odisha government has made Parmar Smith Purushottam Das the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Khurda, amending the order issued on May 24. He was earlier working as SP, CID-CB, Cuttack. Shubhendu Kumar Patra was instructed to take charge of the post of SP Nayagarh with immediate effect. Earlier he was posted as SP Ganjam.
