Maharashtra will launch the MahaScholarship system on MahaDBT 2.0 from 2026-27 to simplify post-Class 10 scholarship applications, verification, renewal, and direct benefit transfer for students.
The Higher and Technical Education Department Maharashtra has announced that all post-Class 10 scholarship schemes in the state will now be implemented through a new integrated system called MahaScholarship on the MahaDBT 2.0 portal from the academic year 2026-27.
The announcement was made by Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, who said the new platform is aimed at making the scholarship process more student-friendly, transparent, and time-bound.
As per the Government Resolution passed by the department, the new system has been made possible via MahaIT as part of an administrative reform initiative in terms of scholarship processes.
