New Delhi. An FIR has been registered against former Chief Minister of West Bengal and Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee. This FIR has been lodged at Siliguri Cyber Police Station by BJP worker and lawyer Rinki Chatterjee against Mamata Banerjee for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. The complainant alleges that during an Eid program in 2025, Mamata Banerjee had given objectionable statements against Hindus. Rinki Chatterjee also claimed that earlier too she had tried to lodge an FIR in this regard but no action was taken on her complaint.

Rinki Chatterjee also alleged that during TMC rule, she was harassed because of complaining against Mamata Banerjee. At the same time, Trinamool Congress leaders say that Mamata Banerjee’s statement is being misrepresented. Let us tell you that after the defeat in the assembly elections, the stars of TMC leaders are in the dark. Just a day ago, Kolkata Police had reached the house of Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee and seized the monitor and some other important documents from there and took it with them. This action has been taken after the Municipal Corporation gave them a notice regarding illegal construction.

Meanwhile, there is also news that 12 TMC MPs are going to support BJP. The newspaper ‘Samvad Pratidin’ published from Kolkata has given the news quoting sources. According to the news, by the monsoon session of Parliament, it will be decided whether TMC MPs will join BJP or they will remain with Mamata Banerjee. If there is a split in TMC, it will be another big blow for Mamata Banerjee after her defeat in the assembly elections.
