UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the correction process (Correction Window) for the application forms for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026. Candidates can visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, to make corrections to their applications. The deadline for making corrections to the form has been set for 11:50 PM on May 28, 2026.

This examination is being conducted to determine eligibility across three distinct categories: JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), eligibility for Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programs. The Exam City Slip for this examination will be available for download starting June 10, 2026, and the Admit Cards will be issued on June 15, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held between June 22 and June 30, 2026.

Rules Regarding Fees for Application Correction
For UGC NET June 2026, candidates are permitted to make certain corrections to their application forms. If changing the 'Subject' results in a difference in the examination fee, the candidate will be required to pay the additional fee. However, any fee paid previously will not be refunded.

All changes will be considered valid only upon the successful payment of any applicable additional fees. Please note that candidates will be granted only one opportunity to make corrections. Once the form has been corrected and submitted, it cannot be modified again.

How to Make Corrections to the Registration Form
First, visit the official NTA UGC NET website.
Click on the "Candidate Login" option located on the homepage.
Log in by entering your Application Number and Password. Now, click on the “Application Correction Window” link.
Select the information you wish to correct (such as name, photograph, signature, etc.).
Enter the correct details and save the changes.
Thoroughly review the form once again.
Finally, submit the form and download the confirmation page.
