The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has initiated the application process for the Lower PCS Recruitment 2026 examination starting May 29, and the deadline to apply is June 18. Applications for the Combined Lower Subordinate Services Examination can be submitted through the official UPSSSC website, upsssc.gov.in. Through this recruitment drive, the Commission aims to fill 2,285 vacancies across various departments. This recruitment process is being conducted for several posts within the state, including Mandi Supervisor Grade-II and District Assistant Immunization Officer.

Candidates applying for this recruitment must have qualified for the PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) 2025 examination and hold a graduation degree in the relevant stream. For instance, for the post of Mandi Supervisor, candidates must possess a graduation degree in Agriculture, Economics, or Commerce from any recognized university. A minimum score of 50% marks is prescribed for candidates belonging to the General category, while a minimum of 45% marks is required for those in the SC/ST categories. Similarly, for the post of Amin, candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.

**Age Limit and Application Fee**
The age limit for candidates applying for these posts has been set between 18 and 40 years. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with government regulations. Meanwhile, the UPSSSC has fixed the application fee at ₹25.

First, visit the official UPSSSC website: upsssc.gov.in.
Next, log in using your PET 2025 credentials.
After that, click on the ‘Lower PCS 2026’ application link.
Now, fill in the necessary details and upload your photograph and signature.
Then, make the online payment for the application fee.
Subsequently, submit your application form.
Finally, keep a printout of the application form for future reference. 

What is the selection process?
Regarding the selection process, candidates will first be shortlisted based on their PET 2025 scores, followed by a written examination. For certain posts, candidates will also be required to undergo a skill test. Additionally, a medical examination and document verification will be conducted. The written examination will be held in offline mode, in both Hindi and English.
