2. Lemonade
The citric acid present in lemon can help reduce the risk of kidney stone formation. Drinking lukewarm lemon water on an empty stomach in the morning detoxifies the body and improves kidney functioning.
3. Watermelon
Watermelon contains abundant amounts of water and antioxidants, which keep the body hydrated. It helps in keeping the kidneys clean and eliminating toxic elements through urine.
4. Basil
Tulsi is considered a medicinal plant in Ayurveda. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties present in it can be helpful in keeping the kidneys healthy. Consumption of basil leaves or basil tea is considered beneficial.
