New Delhi: The New Zealand Cricket Board has officially announced the schedule of the upcoming tour of the Indian cricket team. This time the tour is going to be very historic because a total of 12 matches will be played between India and New Zealand within 40 days. According to ICC, this is the first time in New Zealand’s cricket history that they are hosting so many matches in a single series.

This grand tour includes 5 T20, 5 ODI and 2 Test matches. The tour will begin with Tatafat Cricket (T20) from October 22, while it will conclude with the last Test match on December 1.

7 years of drought ends… Test battle to be held on Kiwi soil

This tour is very special from the point of view of the Indian team. This will be the first time in the last 7 years that Team India will play a Test series on New Zealand soil. Earlier, India had played a Test match there in the year 2019. Whereas, if we talk about limited overs (ODI and T20), the Indian team will go to New Zealand for the first time after the year 2022.

1. Schedule of T20 series (5 matches) – 22 October to 1 November

The first two T20 matches will be played in Christchurch on 22 and 24 October.
The third T20 will be held in Wellington on 27 October.
– On October 30, the fourth match will be played on the pitch of Auckland.
The fifth and final T20 will be played in Hamilton on 1 November.

2. Schedule of ODI series (5 matches) – November 4 to November 15

The first ODI will be held in Auckland on 4th November.
-The second ODI will be played in Wellington on 7 November.
The third ODI will be held in Hamilton on 10 November.
The last two ODI matches will be played at Mount Maunganei on 13 and 15 November.

3. Test series schedule (2 matches) – 19 November to 1 December

First Test: 19 to 23 November, Wellington
Second Test: 27 November to 1 December, Christchurch
