Ingredients required to make healthy momos

for outer layer

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • salt as per taste
  • water as per need

for stuffing

  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 cups grated cabbage
  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup sweet corn
  • 1 cup paneer (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili sauce
  • half teaspoon black pepper powder

Prepare delicious flour momos like this

First of all, mix salt, oil and water in flour and knead a soft dough. After this, heat some oil in a pan and add garlic, onion, carrot, cabbage, corn and other ingredients and fry them lightly. Keep in mind not to overcook the vegetables so that their nutrition and crispness remains.

After the stuffing cools down, roll out small balls of the dough and fill them with vegetable filling and shape them into momos. Now steam and cook in a steamer for 10 to 15 minutes. Your healthy momos are ready.

You can also try rice paper momos

If you want something different and low-calorie option, you can also make rice paper momos. For this, lightly wet the rice paper and fill the prepared filling in it and fold it.

The real taste of momos comes from its chutney. For this, boil tomato, dry red chilli, garlic and ginger by adding some water. When it cools down, remove the peel from the tomato and grind all the ingredients in a mixer.

Add salt as per taste in the prepared chutney. You can increase or decrease the spiciness as per your preference.
