Recall Notice for Farm Rich Pizza Cheese Crunchers

If you have a box of Farm Rich Pizza Cheese Crunchers in your freezer, it's crucial to inspect the packaging before consuming them. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall of this popular frozen snack due to concerns that some packages might contain metal fragments, as reported by various sources. Rich Products Corp has voluntarily recalled 6,408 cases, which amounts to 160,200 pounds of the product, after discovering the risk of metal contamination. The recall was first initiated on May 19, 2026, and the FDA officially classified it as a Class II recall on June 9, 2026. This classification indicates that exposure to the affected product could result in temporary or medically reversible health issues.

Identifying Affected Boxes

Not all boxes of Farm Rich Pizza Cheese Crunchers are included in this recall. To determine if your product is affected, check for three specific details on the packaging: the lot number should be 003029976, the UPC code should read 041322652256, and the best by date should be July 30, 2027. If your box meets all these criteria, do not consume the product.

States Impacted by the Recall

The recalled products were distributed across 21 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. While the official recall notice does not specify particular store names, these products are generally available at grocery retailers such as Walmart, Lidl, and Dollar General.

Steps to Take If You Own the Product

The instructions are clear: if your box matches the specified lot number, UPC, and best by date, do not consume it. You should either dispose of it or return it to the store where it was purchased for a refund.
