Meta announced subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp last month, confirming that these paid plans were being tested under the "Meta One" banner. Now, WhatsApp appears to be adding support for Meta One subscription plans within its Android app. This will allow users to access premium features across all Meta apps through a single subscription. With this anticipated update, WhatsApp likely plans to enable users to access the subscription directly from within the app. Meta may offer two subscription tiers under its Meta One service: Meta One Plus and Meta One Premium.
**Potential Pricing and Benefits of Meta One Plus and Meta One Premium**
According to an update spotted by WABetaInfo, the messaging platform is preparing to integrate Meta One subscription plans directly into its Android app. The feature tracker identified two new Meta One subscription plans in the WhatsApp beta version 2.26.23.10 for Android.
The report indicates that this update will allow users to access and manage these plans directly within WhatsApp. Users who sign up for either plan are expected to receive "WhatsApp Plus" benefits as part of the package. Additionally, they will be able to utilize premium features across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and Meta AI via a single subscription.
Screenshots shared by WABetaInfo reveal two tiers—Meta One Plus and Meta One Premium—designed to offer additional features as part of the company's paid plans. Meta One Plus is reportedly priced at EUR 6.99 (approximately ₹700) per month; this tier includes access to WhatsApp Plus as well as advanced image and video creation tools.
Meanwhile, the Meta One Premium plan is reportedly priced at EUR 20.99 (approximately ₹2,200) per month and may include a one-month free trial. In addition to all the features included in Meta One Plus, this plan offers advanced AI reasoning for complex prompts, higher limits for image and video generation, and increased AI usage limits.
Both plans offer access to WhatsApp Plus. WhatsApp Plus provides users with features such as new app themes and custom ringtones. It also allows for pinning more chats, list customization, premium stickers, and much more.
It is worth noting that Meta announced the rollout of Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus, and WhatsApp Plus last month. These plans are designed to provide subscribers with exclusive features and advanced AI capabilities, though they are currently available only to a select group of users.
