For the last several days, a very disturbing video from inside the train is going viral on various social media platforms. In this viral video, a young student is suddenly seen fainting on the floor of the train. The fellow passengers and people around him try their best to help him and bring him back to consciousness by giving him water, but in the video his condition is seen continuously deteriorating. Some social media users and handles sharing this video claim that this incident took place at Patliputra Railway Station in Bihar, where the young man died a painful death due to suffocation due to huge crowd and administrative chaos during a government examination.

It was also claimed on the internet that after this tragic incident, angry students and people completely blocked the railway track and protested strongly against the government, due to which the movement of many major trains on that route was disrupted for hours. However, as soon as this video became mainstream, serious questions were raised on the veracity of this claim and the entire matter became the subject of heated debate on social media. This entire controversy took a new turn when Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi entered the matter. While posting this video on his social media account, Rahul Gandhi asked many sharp questions to the Indian Railways and the Central Government.

Heavy political rhetoric started on Rahul Gandhi’s viral video post

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while sharing this video on his official X (earlier Twitter) handle, made a direct and sharp attack on the Modi government at the Centre. Rahul Gandhi wrote in his post that at the time of elections, this government makes all the arrangements for trains, and the promising students of the country going to appear for the exams only face crowding, suffocation and helplessness. He further said that what could be a bigger proof than this that the Modi government does not want to listen to the voices of the students. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi made a big promise to the youth and said that we will take this voice to those deaf ears at any cost, and this echo will now become a big roar in Kota on 17th June. After this political post of Rahul Gandhi, this entire matter came into discussion at the national level and political rhetoric regarding it became very intense.

Seeing the increasing controversy, East Central Railway issued its official clarification

In view of Rahul Gandhi’s tweet and the growing anger and controversy on social media, finally an official response has come from East Central Railway (ECR) and Indian Railways on this matter. Senior Railway officials, after conducting a thorough internal investigation of the entire matter, said that this video going viral has no connection whatsoever with Patliputra Railway Station in Bihar or any examination conducted there. The Railway Administration completely clarified that the alleged incident did not at all take place within the limits of East Central Railway zone.

Apart from this, Indian Railways has also completely rejected the claims of the death of the youth being made in the video. Railways said that they do not have any official information or record regarding the death of any such youth. According to officials, the person seen in the video may have suddenly suffered a personal health problem or medical emergency, but his death has not been confirmed from anywhere. In this entire matter, Railways has made a special appeal to the general public and social media users that they should not share such misleading information and sensitive videos without complete investigation and confirmation and avoid promoting any kind of rumors in the country.
