Noida: Daily travel is now going to be very easy and comfortable for the commuters of Delhi-NCR, especially working people and students. Intercity electric bus service has started for the first time between Noida, Greater Noida and Greater Noida West (Noida Extension). A total of 100 e-buses have been launched on the roads with the joint effort of Noida Authority and Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
Bus will be available every 15 minutes, CM Yogi had shown the green signal
Recently, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had flagged off these modern eco-friendly buses, after which their smooth operation has started. To ensure that passengers do not have to wait long, the administration has decided that buses will be available on every route at an interval of every 15 minutes.
Live location will be available sitting at home (Real-Time Tracking)
The biggest feature of this bus service is its technical facility. For the convenience of passengers, ‘real time location tracking’ has been arranged in these buses. Through this, passengers will be able to see on their mobile only where their bus is at the moment and how much time will it take to reach their stop. This will save a lot of time for passengers.
There will be no burden on the pocket: fare only ₹ 20 to ₹ 50
All these buses are completely air-conditioned (AC), which will make the journey pleasant even in summer. For security reasons, 4 CCTV cameras have been installed in every bus. Keeping the journey completely economical, the minimum fare has been fixed at ₹20, for medium distance it has been fixed at ₹30 and the maximum fare has been fixed at ₹50. Officials say that the bus fleet can be further increased in future considering the number of passengers and demand.
