Helipad-ropeway will change the face of Kaimur, CM Samrat Chaudhary made a big announcement

The state government has taken a big step towards establishing Maa Mundeshwari Dham, the main historical and faith center of Bihar, on the international tourism map. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced on Tuesday in the cooperation camp organized at Maa Mundeshwari Dham in Bhagwanpur block of Kaimur district that a helipad and rope-way will be constructed here for the convenience of devotees and tourists. Besides, extensive renovation of the temple complex, jungle safari and eco-tourism will also be developed.

The Chief Minister said that Maa Mundeshwari Dham is an important center of religious and cultural heritage of Bihar. Modern tourism facilities will be developed to give it a new identity in the country and the world. He assured that the foundation stone of the rope-way project will be laid after the rains, which will make it easier for devotees to reach the temple located on the hill.

 

 

Inaugurated development plans

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 60 development schemes costing Rs 196.06 crore. These include the laying of foundation stone of 20 schemes worth Rs 162.69 crore and inauguration of 40 schemes worth Rs 33.36 crore. He also distributed sanction letters, certificates and token checks to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

What did you say on the cooperation camp?

Referring to the success of the Sahyog Shivir programme, the Chief Minister said that so far more than 3.03 lakh applications have been received across Bihar, out of which more than 2.61 lakh applications have been processed within the stipulated time limit. He said that to ensure accountability of officers, the system of notice and even automatic suspension has been implemented.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister also shared the priorities of the government in the fields of education, energy, industry and employment. He announced that in the blocks where there are no degree colleges, studies will be started from July. At the same time, work is also being done at a fast pace on an ambitious plan to connect every family with solar energy.

 

 

Samrat Choudhary, who reached Kaimur for the first time after becoming the Chief Minister, offered prayers at Maa Mundeshwari Bhavani temple before the program and wished for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the state. He was honored by the Temple Trust Committee by presenting him a bodysuit and a memento.

The Chief Minister’s announcements are expected to give new impetus to religious tourism, local employment and infrastructure development in Kaimur. Especially the helipad and rope-way project is being considered as a game changer for Maa Mundeshwari Dham, which can make it one of the major religious tourist destinations of the country in the coming years.
