Liverpool are reportedly preparing an enhanced proposal to sign RB Leipzig's rising star Yan Diomande, as per journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Premier League club had their initial offer of approximately €100 million turned down by the Bundesliga side.
Although RB Leipzig are keen to retain the 19-year-old for another season, Romano has indicated that Diomande is open to a move following an impressive debut campaign in Germany, where he earned the title of Bundesliga Rookie of the Season.
RB Leipzig secured the young winger’s services from CD Leganés last summer for a fee of €20 million. His exceptional performances since then have quickly elevated him into one of the most sought-after young attacking prospects in European football.
At present, Diomande is representing Côte d’Ivoire at the FIFA World Cup, further increasing his visibility on the global stage.
