**Penalties for Overcharging**

The Transport Department has stated that any vehicle charging above the established rates will face penalties:
- Fines (challans) will be imposed on offending vehicles.
- Repeated violations will lead to the cancellation of route permits.

**Bus and Taxi Fares for Kashmir Valley Routes**

**Srinagar to Baltal:**
- Bus: ₹175 per passenger
- Taxi: ₹386

**Baltal to Jammu:**
- Bus: ₹643 per passenger
- Taxi: ₹1,421

**Srinagar to Pahalgam:**
- Bus: ₹173 per passenger
- Taxi: ₹384

**Pahalgam to Jammu:**
- Bus: ₹434 per passenger
- Taxi: ₹959

**Srinagar to Jammu:**
- Bus: ₹468 per passenger
- Taxi: ₹1,035

**Auto-Rickshaw Fares**

**Petrol Auto:**
- ₹26 for the first kilometer, then ₹20 for each additional kilometer.

**E-Auto:**
