During his speech at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority Conference in Washington, Trump expressed concerns that the rise of far-left ideologies represents a significant threat to the nation. He humorously claimed he could be 'the greatest Communist in history,' stating, 'Communism is very easy to sell; it destroys everything, but it's very easy.'

Trump's comments were aimed at Mamdani and other Democratic primary candidates associated with the DSA, whom he accused of attempting to 'completely destroy the traditional American way of life.' He elaborated on the pitfalls of communism, saying, 'After two or three years, the country is a disaster area. The country fails.'
