Courteney Cox, the Friends actress, 62 has parted her ways with Johnny McDaid as confirmed by People. Their 13 years long relationship came to a halt.

Cox and McDaid first started dating in 2013 and made their red carpet debut in 2014 at Cinemagic's L.A. showcase in Santa Monica, Calif. , and got engaged that same year.

Courteney Cox, who happens to be our Monica, from the acclaimed “Friends” series has experienced several significant chapters in her romantic journey.

Courteney’s romantic history is packed with bright stars and big names, which are laced with her career.

Courteney Cox and Michael KeatonThe couple shared a relationship back around 1989 when Keaton, now 74, was enjoying the success of his “Beetlejuice” and about to appear in Batman in the same year.

At that time he was going through the separation process with Caroline McWilliams.

Courteney, just 25, at that time according to Us weekly, told someone from the industry how much she admires Keaton’s work. At this time, she was working in TV and was still learning the fame game.

Both of them were arranged in a date set up, which took place at Cox’s house to avoid any kind of extra attention.

The relationship was quite secretive and continued for a long six years. There were rumours that started swirling before they were separated that Keaton never gave her any ring.

“I bet that three-carat diamond is really beautiful,” Cox told the L.A. Times. “But I never saw it.”

“Relationships are tougher than I thought,” the Cougar Town star told USA Today in 1997, after finally ending the relationship with Michael Keaton.

“And I’ve got a lot of work to do on myself.”

"We met on Scream 1, and on Scream 2 we were kind of on and off dating. And by Scream 3 we were married," Arquette told PEOPLE in 2010.

Cox and Arquette had initially started their relationship after they met at a pre-party prior to filming the first Scream film.

"I was being a little cocky and Courteney was like, 'Ah, I've heard of you,' and we just kept flirting for a while. She's just so gorgeous and she jokes around so much," Arquette recalled in 2009.

According to the actor, it was love at first sight for him, but not for Cox. He quipped, "I had to trick her.”

In 2011, Cox revealed that they had “fallen in love on the first” movie.

Later on June 12, the couple finally exchanged vows at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. It was star studded with many stalwarts like Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Jennifer Aniston, as well as Aniston's then-beau Brad Pitt, were among the guests at the wedding.

They became a parent to their daughter Coco on June 13, 2004.

But slowly there were cracks in the relationship as in 2010, both of them went to couple therapy. Cox told Instyle, "We're not lazy about our marriage. We have the same arguments we've had for years.”

But things took a bad turn when finally on May 28, 2013, Courteney Cox and David Arquette separated and their marriage actually ended after finalizing their divorce.

In the Ellen DeGeneres show, Cox clarified about their relationship highlighting their relationship status.

"He's not my fiancé. We were engaged to be married, but now we're just together," she said (via People).

"We broke off our engagement, and he moved to England, then we got back together, and it's actually better than it was before."

Cox later explained the reason for their initial split in an interview with Minnie Driver on her podcast Minnie Questions.

But as news surfaced on June 27, 2026, that the pair called it quits after more than a decade together.
