Vivo expands premium audio lineup

Vivo has launched the TWS 5 Pro true wireless earbuds, adding a new premium model to its audio range. The earbuds focus on high-quality sound, long battery life and active noise cancellation, making them one of Vivo’s most feature-packed wireless audio products so far.

The headline specification is the inclusion of a built-in Hi-Fi DACwhich is designed to improve audio quality by handling digital-to-analogue conversion with greater precision. Vivo is pairing that with a premium sound architecture and wireless lossless audio support for a more detailed listening experience.

Audio and noise cancellation

The Vivo TWS 5 Pro uses an independent Hi-Fi DAC chip with a 113dB dynamic range and very low distortion, according to launch details. The earbuds also support Wi-Fi direct lossless audio transmission at up to 4.6Mbpswhich is aimed at delivering higher-resolution sound than standard Bluetooth listening.

For noise control, the earbuds offer up to 60dB active noise cancellation. Vivo has also included a four-mic setup, along with call noise reduction and transparency modes, so the earbuds can switch between isolation and awareness depending on the environment.

Battery and connectivity

Battery life is another major highlight. Vivo says the TWS 5 Pro can deliver up to 50 hours of total battery life when used with the charging case. On a single charge, the earbuds are said to offer around 11 hours of playback in standard conditions, with shorter runtime in lossless Wi-Fi mode.

The earbuds also support Bluetooth 5.4multi-device pairing and a low-latency gaming mode rated at 42ms. That makes them suitable not only for music and calls, but also for gaming and video playback where delay matters.

Price and availability

The Vivo TWS 5 Pro has launched in China in black and white colour options. Pricing starts at CNY 1299 for the standard model, placing it in the premium TWS segment alongside other high-end wireless earbuds.

The earbuds are positioned for users who want stronger audio performance, advanced noise cancellation and longer endurance in a compact wireless design.
