Patna Metro Route: The extended route of the Patna Metro was inaugurated on July 2. Metro services extending to Malahi Pakri station will commence today at 4 PM, offering passengers the convenience of traveling a longer distance.
Patna Metro Extension: If you are from Patna, this news is crucial for you. The Patna Metro Rail Corporation shared a post on its official social media platform, X. According to the post, the extended metro route was inaugurated today, July 2, at 11:45 AM. The route was launched by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.
Following the inauguration ceremony, metro services to Malahi Pakri station will begin at 4 PM today. Passengers will now be able to travel a greater distance than before. However, metro services remained suspended from 8 AM to 4 PM during the inauguration, with train operations on the new route commencing only after that time.
What will be the metro timings?
The metro journey from New ISBT to Malahi Pakri station covers a distance of approximately 6.2 kilometers, taking about 16 minutes to complete.
A single train is currently operating on this corridor; consequently, passengers will find a metro available every 35 minutes.
The metro will operate daily from 8 AM to 8 PM.

New ISBT to Bhootnath: ₹15
Metro service now available up to these stations
The metro will now run from New ISBT (Metro Bairiya) to Zero Mile, Bhootnath, and Malahi Pakri stations. Construction of the Khemnichak station on this route is not yet complete; therefore, the metro will not stop there.
