Phu Quoc, voted Asia’s most beautiful island by readers of Condé Nast Traveler, has witnessed growing interest from Polish and Indian tourists in the first five months of 2026, according to Agoda.
Data from the online travel platform showed that searches in Poland were up 63% year-on-year and 52% in India.
“The island’s appeal reflects growing interest in Vietnam’s coastal escapes, combining natural scenery, resort experiences, and opportunities for relaxation,” Agoda wrote.
Phu Quoc has become an increasingly popular destination for Indian travelers, driven by the expansion of direct and charter flights from major cities such as New Delhi.

A five-hour nonstop service connecting New Delhi and Phu Quoc was launched in December last year.
The surge from Polish tourists has been fueled by Vietnam’s favorable visa policies and direct charter flights linking Poland with the island, strengthening Phu Quoc’s appeal among travelers from Eastern Europe.
