Rekha Gupta, the Chief Minister of Delhi, has launched a fierce critique against Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party. This response came after Kejriwal's post questioning BJP's national president Nitin Naveen with the phrase 'Who are you?' Gupta referenced a similar question posed by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating that time answers all questions. She emphasized that even Ravana's arrogance did not endure, questioning Kejriwal's position.

What Sparked the Controversy?

The controversy began when Nitin Naveen targeted Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Arvind Kejriwal during an event in Lucknow on Sunday. He remarked, 'Do not underestimate Hinduism to the point where people will be misled by you. When your followers insult Hindu deities, you remain silent. The disrespect towards Sanatan will never be tolerated by the people of Uttar Pradesh and the nation. We have preserved our heritage, for which our ancestors made sacrifices.'

Following this statement, Kejriwal reposted a BJP post on X (formerly Twitter) with the comment, 'Who are you?'

Rekha Gupta's Counterattack

In response, Gupta took to X to highlight Naveen's achievements, stating, 'Nitin Naveen is the youngest national president of the world's largest political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has the honor of representing the Bankipur assembly constituency in Bihar for four consecutive terms. Rising from the ranks of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, he has reached the position of national president. Currently, he is an elected member of the upper house of the world's largest democracy. This is a brief introduction of him.'

Comments on Arrogance

Gupta further remarked, 'It is well-known that you are desperate and disheartened. However, it seems your arrogance is still sky-high. Remember, Mamata Banerjee once asked, 'Who is Amit Shah?' Time answers every question. Even Ravana's pride did not last; who are you?'
