That difference is clear in the bookmakers’ odds, with Argentina entering the match as firm favourites to progress.

However, Argentina were pushed to their limits by Cape Verde in the previous round, nearly falling victim to a major upset before eventually securing the victory.

Despite that scare, Argentina are expected to find this encounter more manageable, and it is difficult to envisage anything other than a convincing win for the defending champions.
