Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing of Atalanta midfielder Ederson dos Santos during the current summer transfer window.

The Premier League giants had previously reached an agreement with the Italian club for the 27-year-old central midfielder earlier this summer. However, the finalisation of the transfer was delayed as Ederson was called up to represent Brazil, following an injury issue within the national squad.

Nevertheless, Brazilian journalist Andre Hernan has now confirmed that Ederson will indeed be joining Manchester United and is currently travelling to London to undergo his medical examination with the club.
