Manchester United are reportedly evaluating a potential move for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Mateus Mane, according to a report from Express and Star. The 18-year-old talent has also attracted attention from Liverpool, suggesting strong Premier League interest in his services.
Wolves are hopeful that Mane, who is considered one of their brightest young prospects, can play a key role in helping the club secure a return to the Premier League.
In addition to Mane, Manchester United are also said to be maintaining interest in Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone. The shot-stopper, who previously spent time at United earlier in his career, has been linked with a return to Old Trafford this summer following reports that discussions about a possible transfer have resurfaced.
Meanwhile, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are reportedly among the clubs monitoring France international Randal Kolo Muani. The forward spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from Paris Saint-Germain and has since returned to the French champions. However, Juventus are also believed to be keen on securing his signature.
Following a serious knee injury suffered by Amadou Onana, Aston Villa are reportedly considering a move for Parma midfielder Mandela Keita. The Belgian youngster has also drawn interest from Everton and Leeds United, setting up a potential competition among Premier League clubs for his signing.
