According to a report by Il Corriere dello Sport, AS Roma have placed a minimum asking price of €55 million on French midfielder Manu Koné, who is currently being pursued by Premier League side Manchester United. Meanwhile, winger Matias Soulé’s representative has travelled to England for discussions with Sunderland and Fulham.

Roma are expected to part with one or more of their key players in the coming weeks to address financial concerns. The club has been sanctioned by UEFA and must strengthen its financial position in the months ahead to comply with regulatory demands.

It is widely known that Koné, a France international, has drawn strong interest from Manchester United. The English giants have reportedly chosen not to pursue Atalanta’s Ederson, instead shifting their attention to the Roma midfielder.

Reports from Corriere dello Sport indicate that Roma will not allow Koné to leave for less than €55 million, reflecting his importance to the team and his consistent performances in Serie A.

Argentine winger Matias Soulé has also emerged as a potential transfer target for several Premier League clubs. Corriere dello Sport reports that his agent, Martin Guastadisegno, has flown to England to meet with executives from Sunderland and Fulham to explore possible transfer opportunities.

Roma have reportedly valued Soulé at €35 million. The former Juventus player currently carries an amortised value of €15.5 million in the club’s financial accounts, meaning a transfer at €35 million would generate a capital gain of approximately €20 million for the Giallorossi.
