Sunita Ahuja has exited Lock Up: Sach Ya Sazaa due to health reasons, while also dismissing ongoing rumours about her marriage to her husband, Govinda.
Speaking to Variety IndiaAhuja described her stint on the reality show as a memorable experience despite her early departure.
“This has been one of the best experiences of my life. I have no regrets. I have made lovely bonds with all the young people, who are like my children,” she said.
Govinda arrived on the sets of Lock Up: Sach Ya Sazaa to accompany her home after her exit. According to Ahuja, his presence should put speculation surrounding their relationship to rest.
Reflecting on the personal revelations she made during the show, Ahuja said she never hesitated to speak openly about her marriage, including discussing how she overlooked her husband’s alleged affairs with female co-stars.
“There is no point in lying about things. I believe in being honest. The fact that he came to pick me up should answer everyone who thinks we have separated,” she shared.
She also revealed that Govinda was upset after seeing her health condition and even scolded her for participating in the show.
Before appearing on Lock Up: Sach Ya SazaaAhuja featured in the cooking reality series Usually Hai Na. Looking back at her television journey, she said, “I am happy with people’s response. It shows that what I am doing is clicking with them.”
Asked whether she would consider joining Bigg BossAhuja said she has had enough of reality television for now. She is next set to appear in Ektaa Kapoor’s film Hundredwhich also stars her son, Yashvardhan Ahuja.
