Inspection of National Forensic Science University Campus in Jaipur

In Jaipur, Chief Secretary V. Srinivasan conducted an inspection of the temporary campus of the National Forensic Science University (NFSU) located in Pratap Nagar. During this visit, he evaluated the educational facilities, laboratories, and administrative arrangements available at the campus.


Meeting with University Officials

While inspecting the campus, the Chief Secretary held a review meeting with university officials and faculty members. He emphasized the need for all essential resources to be available for students' education and research activities, ensuring that the academic session runs smoothly without interruptions.


Discussion on Security and Infrastructure

V. Srinivasan also discussed various aspects related to the security arrangements and infrastructure of the temporary campus. He highlighted the significant role of this institution in meeting the demand for skilled professionals in forensic science within the state. The field offers vast employment opportunities, aiding in criminal investigations, cybersecurity, identification of offenders, and evidence collection and analysis. The state government is committed to providing all possible support for the smooth operation of the university and the construction of its permanent campus.

Present at the event were Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Bhaskar Atmaram Sawant, Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board Arvind Kumar Poswal, Professor Rakhi Agarwal from the National Forensic Science University, and other officials. The director of NFSU, Professor S. O. Junare, Executive Secretary C. D. Juneja, Academic Director Professor Usha Pokhriyal, and Director of Training and International Relations Professor Naveen Kumar Chaudhary joined the meeting via VC.
