Members of the Bajrang Dal in Bihar’s Forbesganj staged a protest after news of Aamir Khan’s marriage to Gauri Spratt surfaced. The actor recently tied the knot with Gauri in an intimate ceremony at his Bandra residence after being in a relationship for over two years. While many fans congratulated the couple, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt’s wedding also triggered protests in parts of the country.

According to Hauterrfly reports, Bajrang Dal members gathered in Bihar’s Forbesganj and burnt a large poster of Aamir Khan while raising slogans against the actor.

The protesters alleged that Aamir was promoting “love jihad.” Speaking during the protest, local Bajrang Dal leader Manoj Soni claimed that the actor repeatedly married Hindu women and alleged that it was part of a larger agenda against Hindu society. He also warned that the organisation would continue to oppose such actions.

Manoj Soni further questioned why Aamir Khan’s children have Muslim names despite his marriages to Hindu women. He also asked why the actor had not chosen to marry within his own community, comments that quickly sparked debate online.

For those unaware, Aamir Khan first married Reena Dutta in 1986 before the couple separated in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they announced their separation in 2021.
