Target of quality certification for all health institutions of the district by December

Quality Certification of Health Institutions

Rewari Health News: Under the guidance of DC Abhishek Meena and headed by Civil Surgeon Dr Narendra Dahiya, the District Quality Assurance Unit has set a target of all health institutions achieving 100 per cent quality certification by December.

There are currently 124 health institutions functioning in the district, which include one civil hospital, one sub-district hospital, five community health centres, 18 primary health centres, four urban primary health centres, one HUDA dispensary, 94 Ayushman Arogya Mandir and five Ayurveda institutes. Of these, 84 institutions have been certified at the national or state level.

38 institutions have received national quality certification, including five primary health centers at Fatehpuri, Bharawas, Dharuhera, Dahina and Basduda, as well as 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs.

In addition, 46 health institutions have received quality certification at the state level. Nahar block has been selected as an aspirational block, where Sub District Hospital Kosli and Primary Health Center Bavva have achieved state level certification by scoring 75 and 74 percent marks respectively.

Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Jogendra Tanwar said that in July, quality assessment of Ayushman Arogya Mandir Alawalpur, Nikhari, Pranapura, Hansaka, Bithwana and Lala was done. Of these, Alawalpur, Nikhri and Pranapura have achieved National Quality Certification, Alawalpur in particular has shown excellence by securing 93 percent marks. The results of Hansaka, Bithwana and Lala will be declared soon.

He also informed that recently internal assessment of Civil Hospital Rewari, Urban Primary Health Center Rajiv Nagar and Urban Primary Health Center Ghisa Nagar has been conducted in preparation for the state level assessment. Community health centers Bawal, Nahar, Mirpur, Khol and primary health center Bhotwas Ahir are being prepared for state level assessment by September.
