Ingredients for making Gobi Paratha

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • Cauliflower – 2 cups (grated)
  • Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)
  • Green Coriander – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Celery – half teaspoon
  • Cumin – half teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – half teaspoon
  • Garam masala – half teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Ghee or oil – for baking paratha

Easy method of making Gobi Paratha

prepare the dough

First of all, take wheat flour in a big vessel and add some salt to it. Knead soft dough with the help of water. Keep the prepared dough covered for about 15 to 20 minutes, so that the parathas can be made easily.

Prepare cabbage stuffing

Press the grated cabbage gently to remove excess water. Now add green chilli, ginger, green coriander, cumin, celery, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Prepare the stuffing by mixing all the spices well.

Roll paratha like this

Make equal balls of the dough. Lightly roll a ball and place the cabbage stuffing in the middle. Now close the edges and roll the paratha gently.

Bake on the pan

Place paratha on hot pan. After it is lightly cooked on both sides, apply ghee or oil and bake it until it becomes golden and crisp.
