DON'T MISS A MOMENT OF THE WORLD CUP

From Trevor Noah joining The Late Run to Street Soccer: Here are the biggest highlights from House of GOAL Week 2

GOAL’s signature summer football celebration continues to deliver humour, action, and entertainment as it enters its final week of festivities.

NEW YORK – House of GOAL has become the ultimate destination for football fans this summer. Nowhere else in North America has such a fully immersive event been staged. Football has always been about more than the matches themselves – it’s about fashion, music, culture, cinema, television, food, and the conversations that unite fans worldwide.

Until recently, few have managed to truly capture that essence and share it with a broader audience.

House of GOAL embraces it all – art, style, films, food, comedy, and the culture that surrounds the beautiful game. Taking place from July 3 until the World Cup final on July 19, the festival unfolds at Industry City in the heart of Brooklyn. It perfectly embodies the spirit of the World Cup and football as a whole. Even better, entry for daytime programmes remains completely free.

The full schedule of House of GOAL events is available online, but here’s a look at the must-see moments from Week 2 of the festival.

Star Guest: Trevor Noah

Let’s begin with the week’s most prominent guest. GOAL’s popular show, The Late Run, hosted by NFL Hall of Famer Ochocinco and renowned content creator Raheemovic, has featured an impressive line-up of celebrities from football, fashion, lifestyle, and comedy over the past six months – even including a few professional wrestlers.

This week, they will welcome none other than global comedy icon and former The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah. A passionate football fan, Noah has spent the summer hosting live World Cup watchalongs. He will bring his trademark humour to a special live edition of The Late Run on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

Comedy: Mark Normand Delivers the Laughs

Football and comedy have always shared a playful connection. The sport’s unpredictability and drama often invite humour, and House of GOAL has embraced that spirit. Last week, legendary comedian Godfrey had audiences in stitches with his original routines and witty takes on the World Cup.

This week promises even more fun as Mark Normand, a regular on The Tonight Show and The Late Show, takes the stage alongside Fortune Feimster. Feimster, known for her sharp wit and love for football, will join Normand in a double feature that is sure to keep audiences laughing.

Original Podcasts: The Rondo and SoccerGirl Shine

GOAL’s in-house productions will also take centre stage. The Rondo, the brand’s flagship podcast, continues to go from strength to strength. Co-hosts Raheemovic, Tom Hindle, and Corbin Mills have wowed live audiences throughout the summer. The grand finale arrives this Saturday, with special guest Ryan Tolmich joining to close out the series in style.

SoccerGirl will also have its moment in the spotlight. After a successful summer run, the show will host Fortune Feimster and Coach Jackie for another engaging session on Tuesday evening.

Games: Test Your Football Knowledge

For those who pride themselves on their football trivia skills, House of GOAL offers another chance to shine. The first round of trivia contests was a major hit, drawing some of the sharpest football minds around. The quiz returns on Friday at 2 p.m. and again before the final at 1 p.m.

Play: Street Soccer Lets You Show Your Skills

No football festival would be complete without some actual play. Last weekend’s creator match drew great enthusiasm, while the street soccer sessions gave local players the chance to display their flair. The same energy continues this week with matches scheduled from Wednesday through Saturday on the venue’s state-of-the-art pitches.
