The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially started the online application process for the Auditor and Assistant Accountant Main Examination as of July 14. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the UPSSSC's official website. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,829 positions, which includes 223 Auditor roles and 1,606 Assistant Accountant roles.

**Educational Requirements**

To be eligible for application, candidates must have a valid PET-2025 scorecard. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from a recognized institution in India is required. Other eligibility criteria must also be met. Candidates should be at least 21 years old, with a maximum age limit of 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories.

**Exam Format**

The examination will feature 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) totaling 100 marks. Topics will include final accounts, basic accounting principles, preliminary accounting, and book preparation. The exam duration is 2 hours, and there will be negative marking, deducting one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer.
