Ragini 3 is officially moving forward, with Tamannaah Bhatia confirming that production has begun by sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the film’s first day on set.

The actress took to her Instagram Stories on July 15 to celebrate the start of filming. Smiling brightly, she posed with the movie’s clapboard, giving fans their first official look at the production. The slate clearly displayed “Day 01” along with the shoot date, confirming that cameras are now rolling on the much-awaited horror film.

The clapboard also revealed several key members of the production team. It listed Shobha Kapoor as producer, with Amar Talwar and Kumar Taurani serving as co-producers. Shashanka Ghosh is directing the film, while Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti has joined the project as the director of photography.

The announcement marks an important milestone for Ragini 3, a project that has experienced multiple changes before finally entering production.

During its early development, actress Nora Fatehi was reportedly in talks to play the lead role. However, she later stepped away from the project because of scheduling commitments, including work on an international shoot in Los Angeles.

The film also faced another setback when director Sahir Raza exited due to scheduling conflicts. His departure sparked speculation that the project had been delayed indefinitely, leaving fans uncertain about its future.

Despite those challenges, the makers successfully brought the film back on track. Tamannaah Bhatia was officially cast as the female lead, while Junaid Khan joined the project as the male lead. Shashanka Ghosh later took over directing duties, although Sahir Raza continues to remain creatively associated with the film.

The movie is being produced under Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures banner and promises to offer a fresh blend of romance and horror. The makers have described Ragini 3 as a “Date Night Horror,” suggesting a unique mix of thrills, suspense and entertainment aimed at audiences looking for a different cinematic experience.

Apart from confirming the start of filming, the production team has chosen to keep most details under wraps. The storyline, supporting cast and additional characters have not yet been revealed, adding to the curiosity surrounding the film.

With production now officially underway and Tamannaah’s behind-the-scenes update generating excitement among fans, anticipation is steadily building for Ragini 3. More announcements, including details about the cast, plot and release schedule, are expected as filming progresses.
