Japanese will also see the cultural heritage of UP, more than 200 CEOs will come from Yamanashi province in August

Lucknow. Preparations have intensified to give a new direction to tourism, culture and investment cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Japan. In this series, a 200-member Japanese delegation will visit Uttar Pradesh in the month of August. This team will visit major tourist and cultural places of the state and take a closer look at its heritage and possibilities.

Meeting held with delegation of Yamanashi province

Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh held a meeting with a 10-member delegation from Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan on Wednesday. The meeting discussed the preparations and outline of the programs for the visit of the Japanese team proposed in August. The minister said that from August 20 to 23, the delegation of Yamanashi province will stay in Uttar Pradesh and finalize the arrangements and programs to the upcoming tour.

The team will reach Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi and Sarnath

The 200-member Japanese delegation coming in August will visit major tourist places of the state. This includes important places like Taj Mahal of Agra, cultural heritage of Lucknow, Varanasi and Sarnath. The objective of this tour is to promote the historical heritage, spiritual tourism and cultural diversity of Uttar Pradesh at the international level.

Cultural glimpse of UP will be shown in Japan

During the meeting, Nirendra Upadhyay, advisor to the Yamanashi provincial government, proposed to make a 30-minute documentary on the tourism and cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh. Through this documentary, Uttar Pradesh’s tourist places, Buddhist circuit, traditional cuisine and cultural heritage will be promoted in Japan.

Tourism and investment cooperation will get new momentum

It is believed that the visit of the Japanese delegation will promote tourism as well as new opportunities for cultural exchange and investment between Uttar Pradesh and Japan. The state government is considering this tour as an important step towards the expansion of international tourism.
